Grades 6 through 7 The Bridge Builders ministry is designed for any sixth or seventh grade student interested in building a bridge between family faith and personal faith, between personal justice and social justice. This lectionary based ministry nurtures faith and fellowship, incorporating a service component. The meetings are on Sunday evening. The program runs from October to May. CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD Grades 1 through 5 As an integrated part of the Children’s Christian Formation Ministries at Resurrection, Children’s Liturgy of the Word is an excellent opportunity for our children from grades 1 through 5 to hear the Gospel on an age appropriate level. CLOW is offered year-round during weekend liturgies. 3, 4, 5 year olds Resurrection offers a year-round lectionary-based ministry for our pre-school aged children our Sunday Liturgy. Grades 1 through 5 The Family Learning Program is a parent-child centered rather than child centered. Families share foundations of faith through lectionary-based themes. Sessions include learning and faith sharing in peer/grade level groups. Responses to the Gospel message and concepts of faith are reinforced at home through take-home materials and follow-up activities. The program runs from October to May. |

Our Youth Ministry program contains three elements: Service, social and scripture. Our goal is to develop and nurture our youth as a Christian Community devoted to living and spreading the gospel message. Grades 8 through 10 Horizons’ is the Lectionary-based Christian Formation element of the Youth Ministry. Horizons’ is for grades 8 through 10 and meets the first and third Sundays of each month from 5:00 – 6:30 PM in Caroluzza Hall. A schedule for the year’s sessions will be distributed at the first session on October 5th. Confirmation Preparation is a two-year program beginning in 10th grade with Horizons.Grades 8 through 12 Youth Ministry concentrates on building leadership, fostering fellowship and developing service and social conscientiousness. Youth Ministry is for grades 8 through 12 and meets the second and fourth Sundays of each month from 5:00 – 6:30 PM in Caroluzza Hall. A schedule for the year will be distributed at the first session on October 5th. |
