All of the media coverage did an outstanding job of exposing the need of our
neighbors on the Gulf Coast as experienced by the Resurrection Youth.
We shared our August Gulf Coast meals in an surplus army tent.
We shared the floor for a bed, for this we paid no rent.
Our eyes saw visions of devastation so vast.
but the work would help to make the
scene pass.
When all was said and done, there was still time for fun.
The memories we built will surely last.
